Spring Forage And Feast Day
Foraging from the fields, meadows, and surrounding woodlands can be a real joy at all times of the year, offering a range of nutritional tasty health beneficial foods from berries to bugs and mushrooms to weeds.Prepare to be overwhelmed by how much our natural environment has to offer.
We have put together a 1 day Forage And Feast course offering the opportunity to explore an alternative option to our usual pre-packed highly processed expensive shopping list.
From the moment you arrive on sight you will have your first taste of the wild over a short introduction and talk. Throughout the rest of the day you will learn how to correctly locate, ID, prepare and cook a range of plant, meat and sweet based recipes.
This event will involve an element of game preparation, however we highly respect that this may be an issue for some participant’s, but be assured we have made arrangements for alternative topics during this section of the course.
